What's Fun Got To Do With It?

Sometimes we just have FUN!  As Mariah would say, "Serious Fun Nana".  We planned a bunch of different photo shoots for some of the outfits that she rarely gets to wear...So we played.  I at my sewing machine and her at hers.  (Hers is one that sits on the other end of the counter and doesn't work) but she feels like we are working together!  We made the cutest fabric flower for her hair and then we just had to have a sash to put around her waist! When that was done, we made another fabric flower out of different colors.

Thanks to the wonderful boutiques out there, we have created quite a collection of large Bubblegum necklaces.  There are many more that we plan on getting photos of too!

As usual, the outcome was pure awesomeness and Mariah rocked her new look, even if it was just for a few minutes!

I love when we find things to do that are FUN!  I am sure I will post more!

Party of the Year!

Far and above the decorations was the level of excitement in this little girls heart! She was excited for Christmas, but knew that right after Christmas was going to the Party of the Year for her as well as her BIG #5!

She's been practicing being 5 for a while now...constantly saying that she's almost 5.  She's bigger now, she can do things she couldn't do before.  Like playing a big sister to her dolly, doing things for herself now, showing how she reach the sink faucet, reach the top of the microwave and helping more in the kitchen.

But nothing was going to compare to today!  January 2nd, her party and she was "5" in her heart all weekend long!

There was face painting, scavenger hunt and even a big parachute game.  Mommy and Daddy helped in the game too! But Mommy and Daddy both got their face painted too, that was so funny!

All the friends got Cutie Marks too.  Pinkie Pie just asked them what they wanted and they got them! There were a lot of Rainbow Dash's Cutie Marks and Pinkie Pie's.

New Years Shoot!

Well this one is for the books!  The largest group I have shot do date!  Photography Shoot that is! And it just so happens that it was my family!  It has been a long time since this many people have gotten together in my Aunt's Family, so to have them somewhat in the same place was priceless! Great to see them all, it has been a while.  Way to ring in the New Year!

What It's Like To Be Five!

So many changes in our little Princess over the years...but the biggest is her attitude!  She's growing up so fast.  Five years old as of Jan. 5th and This is what Five looks like on her:

Her Birthday Party was January 2nd and it was a HUGE success.  Her favorite pony, Pinkie Pie came to her party and all of her little girlfriends!  It was more fun than we could imagine!  There was a Rainbow Tent above the table and a carousel of My Little Ponies as the centerpiece.

There was a beautiful Rainbow Cake with Pinkie Pie right on top and her favorite candle, the number "5"!  Plus Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack joined her on the cake!  There were yummy rainbow cupcakes with the number 5 on them too.  

On the table was fun confetti with wishes of a Happy Birthday, a lot of Pinkie Pie plates and cups and fun Birthday hats for all my Pony friends!

We had fun treats for my Pony friends to take home with them too.  We had Pinkie Pie Lemonade and Princes Cadance Chili Dogs too!
